Sleek are absolutely slaying the makeup game right now. They have so many good products to offer at the moment it's amazing!
Hidden Gems launched exclusively in Superdrug and there's no denying just how beautiful this collection really is.
First up is the Strobing Souffle in Smoky Quartz* Now, I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a huge fan of strobing because of it's 'stand aloneness' of it. I was also pretty intrigued by this because Sleek have called it a souffle (which admittedly makes me want the dessert). Anyway, The formula is so creamy, it's certainly an interesting one but it's very pigmented which Sleek always achieve. This would be an excellent dupe for Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in the shade 'Summer' Although that's a powder and Smoky Quartz is creamy. They're very identical in the shade, which is perfect! I gave strobing the benefit of the doubt and gave it a try with this souffle and I love it. It creates such a gorgeous dewy effect on my cheekbones. I did take a couple photographs with it on but I wasn't happy with the outcome! I'll do an update in future posts!
Next up is the VIP lipstick in Superstar* This is a gorgeous metallic lipstick and as you can see, it's a deep purple. When it's on there's subtle blue twinkles and undertones to it, which if you look at the bottom of my photo - you can see the blue tones. It's seriously gorgeous. It's a semi-matte lipstick and the texture is pretty creamy and again, like always - pigmented. The general shape is so cool - it's shaped like gemstones which I find ace! It goes on pretty well but because of the shape, it does make it harder to apply but that's not really a massive issue, just personal preference.
Last but certainly not least, is the i-Lust palette in Hidden Gems* First of all, how bloody gorgeous are the colours? These are perfect for the party season. I don't think I own a palette like this. I tend to go for nudes, oranges, reds and purples so to have green, blue and silver in a palette is quite the unknown to me. I can see me reaching for this quite a lot throughout the festive period. The great thing about this palette is that it's really affordable at £7.50 and the quality of the product is brilliant. Sleek is so good for this and I love that they make all their makeup affordable. It's ideal for those just delving into the makeup world and those on a budget. People won't be disappointed with their products, that's for sure!
