Blogmas Day Nine - Gift guide for parents!

9 December 2016

Now, I don't know about you - but parents can sometimes be really difficult to buy for. Here's to hoping this guide helps!

I always find that personal gifts mean more to parents and get them presents that they're actually going to use.

First is this personalised word cloud print. I love this and I think it's really sentimental. You can find all different versions of word clouds on Not On The High Street but I love this one by Spin Collective. You can really customise this and make it totally your own which is what I love about it. It starts off at £24.00 but obviously the bigger you want it, the type of frame you want will increase the price.

My mum absolutely loves Willow Tree products, they're always a winner at Christmas time and birthdays. If you've not got these yet, you might want too. Every person I've got one for has always loved them. They're absolutely gorgeous and they're all different with various meanings. I tend to get them from HSamuel and this one is so cute, it's the 'mother daughter' figure and it's priced at £31.99. They have different ones too, father daughter, together, promise, thankful, peace... the list goes on. There's basically one for everything!

My dad is a massive DIY person. He has tool boxes everywhere and he's always fixing something in the house or sorting something. I came across these personalised hammers previously and figured these could make a good gift, since my dad uses his tools all the time anyway. Even if it's your mum who's the DIYer in the house, this could be something for her! Again, from Not On The High Street it's priced at just £20.00!

Something I've always wanted to do for my parents is a gift experience day, whether it's afternoon tea, a spa day or a weekend break. I've just never got round to doing it. This could be something you go halves/thirds or whatever with your siblings for. Virgin Experience Days have some really good  experiences to offer. I've attached the initial homepage for these experiences so you can see how much they have to offer!

You can't go wrong with an alcoholic gift set. I usually always get mine from BHS and Boots but I can't find any on the Boots website and obviously we no longer have a BHS...  My mum always loves getting a Bailey's gift set of some sort and dad is into his whisky. At the moment, I can only find them on Amazon.

Coffee lover? Look no further, this Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine is sure to be a winner. Again, something you could go halves on with a sibling, they're priced at around £46.00 on Amazon. My mum has been doing some serious hinting at a coffee machine for Christmas.

I do really recommend looking at Not On The High Street or Getting Personal. They're both fab websites! Hopefully you'll find something on there or maybe this post has helped!

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed it. Be sure to check out my other blogmas posts and follow me on social media! Thanks again,
