Caudalie: The Vinosource Collection

24 May 2016

I've been pretty excited to write this post but it's been on hold for about a week, I'm just trying to chill out with my last week of uni and have fun so I'm neglecting my blog a bit (sorry). Now, I'm not massive on skin care *slaps wrist* and I really should be because it's important to nourish your skin and protect it.

I'm very lucky/fortunate to have good skin - without trying to sound big headed - I barely ever get spots, I don't have an oily complexion or unevenness. I only struggle with dark circles under my eyes. However, it is important to look after your skin as I've said so I'm aiming to do just that. Caudalie have sent me a couple products to try out and I was a bit unsure to tell you the truth because as I said, my skin is fairly decent. However, these products showed me how vital it is to look after your skin no matter your skin type. Please note that this is through an affiliate scheme so there are advertisements in this post. However, all views expressed in this post are my honest opinion on the products I discuss.

I was sent some products from their new 'The Vinosource Collection'* which looks so cute in their packaging and it smells sooooooo nice. Some skincare products smell awful but this is just a lovely sweet smell and I think they've got the balance just right here.

So the first product is the Moisturizing Sorbet* (full price £23) which I fell in love with instantly. It moisturises your skin (obviously) and has a cooling effect on the skin I found. What's even better is that 98% of the ingredients are of natural origin. Some of the ingredients include: grape Seed Polyphenols (which are full of antioxidants), aqua-regulating complex - this helps to visibly reduce the oily feel on your skin and organic grape water which of course soothes and moisturises the skin. These are just some of the highlights of the Moisturizing Sorbet!

My skin recently has felt 'angry' as a result of the end of university stress with my exam and assignments so this was a godsend. I use this everyday and I've quickly ran out of the samples that Caudalie sent me. I'm definitely going to get a full size version of this when I get paid. Also, I found that my makeup stayed better on my skin when I used this before applying - bonus!

Next up is the Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum* (full size £29). Now I've never tried serums like this as they tend to scare me a bit (I know right?) First of all, this is fab if you have sensitive skin like myself - in fact the whole Vinosource Collection by Caudalie would be great for sensitive skin, Ive seen nothing but improvement! This serum is oil-free which is great, it restores your skin and 'rejuvenates' it so to speak, it just completely hydrates your skin which I love.

With the changing weather as well I always get little flecks of dry skin around my nose area (who doesn't really) so this has helped that so much. Your skin also absorbs this pretty much straight away which is great because it just shows how much nourishment your skin actually needs. Also, whilst I'm thinking on it - a little bit of the serum goes a LONG way, I didn't realise this when I first used it and the serum came flying out into my hand, luckily I managed to use all of what was in my hand so just be wary of that. This is also a product I'm considering buying a full sized version of, I have a feeling that this will be perfect after my 9 hour flight to Florida in July and during my holiday there with the heat etc.

Last but not least is the Micellar Cleansing Water*  (full size 200ml at £15.00, 100ml at £9.00) which is designed to gently cleanse the skin and remove makeup. It's also a three in one - makeup remover, cleanser and toner. So that's pretty good considering and who doesn't love a multi product?  Again, with this product - a little goes a long way and I found that one-two pumps at the maximum covered my whole face, my skin felt incredibly soft after using this (as did my skin when I tried the other Caudalie Vinosource products).

According to the Caudalie website description of the cleansing water it is 'delicately scented with the fresh fragrance of orange and lemon blossom, watermelon and mint leaves' so you can imagine how amazing this smells (plus I'm a sucker for these scents). It's hypo-allergenic and non-irritating so this is proving to be my saviour product as SO many makeup removers/cleansers react to my skin and so so far there has been no reaction with this product *touches wood*.

All in all, I have loved the products that I've been able to try thanks to Caudalie and I will definitely be buying some of these if not all three in full size because they're honestly brilliant, my skin feels 1000000x better than it ever did, my skin feels firmer, softer, hydrated and just in a lot better condition than I ever thought possible (and here was me bragging about my skin) It's made me so much more curious about their other skincare products so come pay day I know where all my money will be going!
