Blogmas Day Sixteen - Skincare products I'm enjoying!

16 December 2016

Confession time. I'm terrible with my skin. I don't really do anything with it but I am changing this...

I am trying to improve my skincare because let's be honest we should really treat our skin well and give it the TLC it needs on a regular basis. Here's a couple products I've been trying out over the last couple of months!

Witch Naturally Clear Blemish Gel - this has been my knight in shining armour. I picked this up in Tesco a couple months ago when I had a really bad breakout and this helps to reduce the soreness and redness over night. You literally just put this on the spots in question, no need to rub anything in either. It does all the magic for you!

Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist - We were lucky enough to have this beauty in our goodie bags from the Girl Gang event in August and I had heard amazing things about this product so I was quite eager to try it out. It's a hydrating mist for normal to combination skin and in all honesty, there's not much I can say about this product because it does what it says - it just hydrates the skin and smells incredible. I hate the smell of roses but this isn't overpowering, it's subtle and just lovely. My mum also keeps reaching for this product too.

Miss Organics Beauty Tonic Organic Face Oil  - Perfect if you have sensitive skin like I do. It's super easy to use, just pop 2-3 drops to your fingertips and massage into your skin. This leaves my skin looking amazing and it feels so soft. I have two of these at the moment so I took a photo of the more 'fuller' bottle so you can see what the product looks like. It has a weird texture to it though and smells a bit like honey. It's supposed to help revive and protect your skin and it's to be used after cleansing (something I don't really do... oops - Hayley will be telling me off for that) However, I am quite enjoying this product and what it's doing to my skin at the moment!

Simply Argan Facial Mask with Argan Oil* - A hypoallergenic mask which is suitable for most skin types, it again helps revive the skin. Argan Oil is extremely popular right now because there's so many benefits to using argan oil, I use the oil on my hair and it feels so much stronger and healthier for using it! Anyway, back to this product. It's a facemask that isn't a drying up one, so it's always 'clay' like on your skin. Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes. I have been using this mask once a week if I can but I've been so busy recently I've not even had time to relax and stick this on. It smells really good aswell! It has a combination of Aloe Vera, Cocoa Butter, Argan Oil and Kaolin in so you can just imagine the smell. I think it smells like citrus! This clay mask helps to remove the impurities, it moisturises the skin and helps to cleanse it. My skin practically glows after using this mask! I've heard it's supposed to help with scarring too so I'll be testing this out on Kayne because he has a couple scars from spots as a teen.

Beauty Pro Brightening Collagen Mask* - The initial face mask is creepy. It's like a sheet that covers your face and it does scare me slightly but it does amazing things for your skin. I've tried a couple Beauty Pro masks in the past so I was very eager to try this one out! It's not tested on animals which is great, it has many benefits too such as the anti-aging treatment so it helps to combat the wrinkles and fine lines - something I know I'll need to use a lot in the future! You need to wear the mask for 15 minutes and I always think these type of masks have a cooling effect to the skin - whether it's supposed to do that or not I'm not sure but my skin sure as hell felt great after using it. My skin was practically glowing! I've even asked for some of these masks for Christmas so we'll have to see what happens but that's how much I enjoyed using this product! It's just a shame it's a one time use!

So there you have it, skin products I'm enjoying at the moment! I'm not great with skincare but I am wanting to change this and this is what I've been using recently, although I'm sure this will expand over time once I get into the routine of it!
