Blogmas Day Twenty Four - A Time To Be Thankful

24 December 2016

It's the most wonderful time of the year...
Whilst this may be true. It's never a bad idea to take a step back from the hustle and bustle of the chaos that is Christmas and just count your blessings. I like spending some time on my own just thinking about what I'm thankful for and appreciating what I have. It's a good thing to try I think. Especially when Christmas is such a commercialised thing now, it's good to take the back seat once in a while. Here's some things you could be thankful for:

Be thankful for what you have.

Be thankful for where you live.

Be thankful for your health, for your family's health and your friends.

Be thankful for happiness.

Be thankful for a warm bed.

Be thankful you have the vital life necessities such as clean food and water.

Be thankful you don't live in a war torn country, that you're not fleeing for your lives like people are right now in other parts of the world. Be thankful that there is not a war on your back door.

Be thankful that you're not living in poverty.

Be thankful for technology, allowing people to connect with family and friends from across the globe.

Be thankful for a roof over your head.

Be thankful for positivity.

Be thankful for good food and drink.

Be thankful for the company you'll have this winter.

Be thankful knowing you're safe in your home.

Be thankful for friends.

Be thankful for family.

There's so much to be thankful for!

What are you thankful for this Christmas? Let me know in the comments below!
